Is livewire problematic??
Just got an 05 to replace my 04, needed a little more GVWR & CVWR. I was thinking about using livewire instead of guages this time around but I've heard that they where problematic. Do they have the "bugs" worked out of livewire yet or should I opt for guages again?

I believe analog guages will be more accurate. I had the Banks Six Gun in my truck and now have it forsale cause I want analog guages. I know and it has been posted on here that the OBD/Livewire trans temp is about 30 degrees cooler than an analog guage reads. I never used the Banks PDA other than for the guages. If you are interested in it PM me. I will tell you more. However be aware that the shift on the fly type tuners are not good for the trans if you beat the crap out of them. Like I said never used it except for the guages and level 3 for towing. I am going to get a SCT and some guages in its place. The PDA is nice and clean which is why I had it. Time for some better power adders so I need more reliable guages.
