I have a T85C overdrive transmission that is complete with kick down switch and relay. Tail shaft indicates R-11 which I believe is the heavy duty unit.
Best offer or will trade for good used 4 speed, B/W T10 out of a full size car such as a '63 Galaxie. Or top loader from '64, etc.
I am located in West Michigan. I do not have PM privileges yet so you will need to contact me at: rocky4752@sbcglobal.net
Not really set up to build a box and ship something like this, but it's not out of the question. Still waiting for some offers. My goal is to end up with a 4 speed B/W T10 transmission if that gives you any idea.
I still don't really know what the thing is worth. I've seen figures from $300 to $500.
Dear NumberDummy,
Sorry, I didn't mean to upset anyone. I did state in my original post that I was located in West Michigan. I also provided my personal email address if someone should have any questions.
As far as the transmission goes. It was removed from a 1963 Ford full size station wagon and does have the R-11 designation on the tail shaft and from everything I've read denotes it as the heavy duty unit. If you have any further information that would aid me I would be happy to hear from you.
BTW, the transmission is still available if anyone is interested. I have a standing offer of $350 at the present.
thanks,
dave
Don't spend a lot of time looking for a good T10. 20 years ago, I couldn't find a good one in CA. Doesn't mean the don't exist, but the toploader is a better trans, easier to find, and available in near new condition.

there are other sites, just google 4 speed toploader. Beware the 4 speed OD from the '70s-'80s, unless you want one....
Man, I've been keeping an eye out and whamo.....found one in Florida on eBay. Picked it up pretty darn reasonable. I know the top loader might be a better trans, but the T-10 is correct for the vehicle I doing.
