49 Running Boards
Just wondering if any one could tell me if there is a difference in running boards between the 1/2 and 3/4 tons in 1949. I thought the 3/4 tons were longer but one of the online catalogs list the same part number for both.

F-1s have their own boards, F-2 & 3 have the same boards, which are about 8" longer, and boxes.
The boards for '48-mid '50 have a wide lip that goes under the cab and box, the later '50-52 doesn't have the wide lip, this is the type that is being reproduced. The newer style will work on the older trucks, you hardly notice the lip when they're on the truck and most people won't know the difference.
