Well I talked to my neighbor tonight...she's the one that owns the restaurant. She said they end up with 10 gallons of WVO every day. WTF am i going to do with 70 gallons a week? Holy crap. She says I am welcome to it for free and that I have her promise that used oil is mine for as long as I want it! I'd say, for me, the collecting is the easy part.
I told her in exchange, i'll help her haul some heavy stuff around with the PSD, they own the house next door and they've been doing a lot to fix the place up. She got excited when I told her I'd help them haul landscaping supplies, they were looking at having to rent a truck to get it done.
Another surprise is that she is actually paying to recycle her WVO. She ALSO said one of her very best friends is a mechanic and he specializes in biodiesel and getting everything set up to brew. I think I stumbled on a good thing here.
It sounds like there are a few other PSD's close to you. If you have access to 70 ga. a week I suggest taking on a partner or 2 so making the fuel becomes easier and you'll have an easier time using it up.
