Camper question

What is the best way to keep mice out of a camper while not in use.

That can be a tough one.


First block off any access holes. A mouse cn crawl thru a dime size hole. You could used metal screen, there are sprays at hardware stores or just good old steel wool will work.

Next you might use a repelling smell. Seems like moth ***** and Bounce fabric softener sheets work OK. I have also read about a nicotine spray or liquid that you can get from some nurseries, garden shops etc, that will rfepell rodents.

Lastly you could used traps such as mouse trap, glue traps etc.

A mix of these methods seemed to work well for our trailer after we discovered mice had taken over the kitchen drawers. After these tricks we rarely or never saw mous sign. We used mostly bounce and plugged holes and set a few mousetraps.
