Mini Starters
Just curious if anyone can recommend brands of mini-starters. I bought a no-name brand off eBay that only lasted a couple weeks before it started grinding against the flywheel. My flywheel isn't in perfect condition, but I never had a problem with OEM style starters. Anyone ever try a Ford Racing mini starter?

I don't have an answer for this, but I want to ask a question, because I'm curious.
Why a mini-starter? Are you trying to shave weight off the vehicle? If so, what else have you taken off to shave weight? I've always been curious about these on street trucks, because it seems like a lot of money to shave off very few pounds.
Or are you running into space problems due to headers or something else? Just wondering. Thanks.
