and knowing is half the battle, G I Joe... or was that a different show? never really watched it... Just waiting for Bill to chime in saying something like... GI Joe was on chanel 2 from 1963 to february 1983 with reruns on chanel..........
I can't chime in with facts, because I never heard of a show called GI Joe.
What's the difference between our ages, something like 30 years?
By the time that show aired, I prolly had shed a wife or two, and had owned over 200 old rolling piles of misery.
thats to bad Bill... but how is your Fusion working out for ya? and i also do NOT want to know what gay marridge sounds like {chills run down back} ...

What the hell is a gay marridge, never heard a such a thing.
Are you refering to gay marriage?
Don't ask me, I haven't a klew.
So far, I've racked up 40 miles on the Fusion, the gauge is still on full...the dealer supplied the gas, and at this rate, it prolly won't need a refill till August!
After checking out your profile, I now know why I never heard of the show GI Joe...I was 41 when you were born.
You prolly never heard of Andy and his Gang, or the Tim McCoy Show.
see marridge is kinda like marriage but you use a D and not an A, and by doing that it becomes more of a useless word, kinda like how marriage is becomeing usless. its more of a play on meaning then really anything else....
or i just cant spell, i forget what i was doing there...
You know, I never really put any thought into that Bill. I'm not too worried about my trucks, but I guess with your car and truck, that would be a concern. Still, it's too bad we can't see them. I'm a big fan of the Galaxies!

The only thing here is the Fusion, and my wifes car.
Besides the four Fords (I own 2 1963 Galaxies, and have owned over 30), I have a 1934 Packard V12 Dietrich Convertible, one of two known, an all original 1939 Packard Super 8 Sedan. 1963 Studebaker R2 Super Hawk, the first pre-production model, and a 1962 Bentley Continental Flying Spur, body by Hooper, formerly owned by King Farouk of Egypt.
Now you know why I don't have a gallery.
No, I'm not rich. I bought the '34 Packard in 1972, the Bentley in 1985. The price combined was less than 15 grand.
The most I paid for an old pile was for the Stupidbaker, and that wasn't anywhere near its value. The guy I bought it from was a so called "investor" and was totally klewless.
One look at the engine number, was all it took to turn a 10 grand car into a 50 grand car.

Okay, fair enough. I say we have our next G2G at NumberDummy's storage garage. Steve????
Doncha just love people who invite themselves over?
Super Duty's are popular targets for thieves but Bill's car collection would attract the true professionals! When a professional thief really wants something they're going to get it.
I just rely on Ravelco, Lo-Jack, and Smith & Wesson to ensure mine stays where I leave it. The NRA Life Member sticker and license plate frame help a bit as well.

With gas prices today, the Fusion is probably more at risk than the classics. After all, where can you go with a '63 Studebaker without attacting attention.
That's not to belittle your concern Bill. I understand and would feel the same way.
