chaos, you are correct, the atomic cannon was the us's answer to the germans anzio annie, i have both at work....lol anzio annie is also know as the leopold, its the german railgun that was hidden in tunnels and only pulled out to fire then pushed right back into hiding. i will upload a couple of pics shortly.......and yes neal, i just proved you wrong......lol. as a matter of fact i beleive there are only 2 left in existance, i have one and i cant recall the other base that has one, i will find out though
So that's the real story on the rail cannon. I was close. Thanx. That one is pretty impressive also.
Take it eeeeeaaasy. Remember I am still living in my camper and don't have all the luxuries of home. Still funny nevertheless.
Excuses, excuses! I am considering living in a camper as well! Is it just you or your family as well? I am back to a 90 mile round trip commute which ain't gonna work for long! Plenty of people who will let me park it in their yard. And with fuel prices there seem to be a lot of trailers for sale.

I think I would want to me more than 7 miles away! Might get a little after glow.
Yup I got me, the wife, the boy and our puppy. It is a 36' fifth wheel with 3 slides on it so I am not exactly roughing it either. Washer/Dryer and central vacuum system, Not so bad. The wife stays with me about 1/2 the time or a bit more now.
I think I am correct on the 7 miles but I could be wrong I was pulling that from memory.
Dang!!! but still way to close for my blood. but i would love to squeeze the trigger of that if it wasnt attomic. hhmm... i can smell the burning powder now. so how does a guy go about buying one of these? haha what is the real name for this weapon?
its official military designation is the "M65 atomic cannon" army personel knicknamed it "atomic annie" because the whole concept was taken from "anzio annie" the german rail gun
