Air intake question.....

I want to put an aftermarket air intake on my 2006 PSD. I am looking at K&N, Banks, and others. Anyone have a preference, pro's and con's, or suggestion? Will this void the manufacturer's warranty?

You are going to find that most people say to stick with the Stock one. It will flow enough air t support 500 hp, it holds 40lbs of dirt and its a great filter. Aslo it traps finer particles which will prevent premature failure of your turbo. Last but not least you only need to replace it when the filterminder tells you too. Most people just do the Zoodad mod.

Welcome aboard and spend some time in the tech. folder there is tons of great useful info in there. Hang on tight cause there are a lot of people with knowledge here.

I REALLY like the S&B filters, and have heard nothing but positive reviews from customers about them. You can use coupon code "5offsb" for $5 off of your order

Stay stock and use your money for something worth while and save your engine warranty at the same time.

I had the AFE Stage one but changed back to stock. My AFE is available if you're interested.

dont bother, changing filters wont do a thing. save up for a water/meth system or an intercooler.

you will have more turbo whistle with an aftermarket intake. Only reason I run mine and not enough evidence to convince me to stick with stock.
