Whistling Grill??

I just put a billet grill on my sister 07 F150 last weekend, and she tells me that she can now hear a whistling sound at highway speeds from the front of her truck. Drove the truck myself earlier this evening and witnessed it myself. I told her it must be the new grill, since niether of us had heard it until I changed the grill. Anyone else experience this??
Also, her and I both decided that the billet grills look real good with the oval on them. Any suggestions for getting the logo off her old grill and onto her new grill?? The studs on the back are not long enough to reach through the new grill, so any ideas??

I have seen grills cause whistles before. Could be several items. I would first tape some painters tape or something that won't leave any residue and tape where the grill meets the hood. See if that eliminates the whistle. We used to do this by trail and error. Start taping off the grill until the whistle stops. Not sure if you will be able to fix it, but if you know where the source is, maybe you'll be able to.

As to mounting the Ford logo, you can try to extend the studs with a barrel nut and thread rod or maybe get some sheet metal and make your own clip that will reach the studs. I'm not sure if other logos have longer studs. There are a few oval sizes..

Mine whistled too when it was new but it eventually went away.

My Ford emblem is just held on with 3M double sided tape and it's been fine almost 4 years now!

Steve's solution is much simplier! All our body emblems are tapes on anyways, so that will work. Just make sure the surfaces are clean of grease and wax and you'll be good to go!!

Didnt think of taping off parts of the grill to pinpoint the whistling, but I am gonna have to try that. It really isnt that loud, but I would like to know what it is. If I find anything I will post.
As for the oval, I am gonna try the tape, seems like that is farily common. I will be sure to clean the surfaces. Thanks for the advice.

My '05 F150 Supercrew came with the billet grill, it's the Platinum Edition with Roush extras; it has been whistling since it was new. I took the blue oval off, we think it looks better. The studs actually snapped off the back; they were glued into the back of the oval.

Another reason I took it off is because I thought it might be causing the whistling, it wasn't. I've noticed that at highway speeds the hood is vibrating a little when the whistling starts; I'm going to do what twinsDad said, tape the grill to the hood ..... worth a try. I guess I'll know if it stops, won't know what to do to fix it!
