This is a good time to check all the ground connections as well.

I will look in the OM and see if I can find all those things. I have a breaker and fuse box in the hall of the trailer. There is a screen type panel under the frig but I think that is the same as the access from the back.

Thanks for the info. I really need to use this thing. A 30,000 TT and never went camping.

mine is computer controled and you have to go to the touch pad on the freezer door to select if you want it to run on propane or 120vac. This is done in the mode portion of the screen.

I can select only propane or auto. Auto will go to ac if propane runs out or if ac power comes on. Ac is default. You must have a fancy one.

miller feed, You mentioned that you keep it plugged in? NONONONONONONO! That has most likely fried your batteries because the trailer inverters are dumb and do not know when to stop charging. I did it to mine a long time ago. With in 3 months my batteries would not be strong enough to last a weekend in the summer just running lights and H20 pump. I upgraded from the 2 Group 24's to 2 6volt golf cart batteries that have 2 times the power of the 24's

I didn't know this, I thought it was good to keep it pluged in and keep the frig on. I will not go anywhere where there is not power anyway. It has been pluge in sense 12 - 05' and still works fine, I think. I also have a 10,000 w generator, if there is no power.

And it will stay level from now on. Like I said we only used it to sleep in while repairing the house. We could use the kitchen and bath in the house but lots of the celing and walls were exposed.

Thanks for the info guys.

Newer trailers have the "SMART" regulator installer where it will not allow the battery (s) be overcharged. And every so many minutes (hours) it zaps the battery so that the plates do not sulphurize. They work great. I keep mine plugged in year round too...never have had to replace the batteries.

Hey Ray, I thought the same thing, but I am new to the TT thing. I had this thing sense 12-05', but never really used it. I will be taking it to SMOKIN next year.

Actually mine is an 04 and is aint smart. My buddy who owns the RV shop says it is more common than not that the RV manufacturers put in the cheapest **** they can until you get over 35,000.00 But then it was a warning and something I have lived through.

Mine is a CRUISER by CROSSROADS. And it was 5,000.00 less then what you said. I will look at the OM and see if it has it.

Thanks

You're welcome!

But it doesn't necessarily mean that we are good, it's just that we have had the fun of dealing with some of these problems before you and eventually figured out the problem!

Love to share info on this site because I have learned alot from everyone here!!!
