What is the best addition, modification, or upgrade that FTE members have done on their trucks and also what was the worst so we all don't make the same mistakes

Mods I like most on my trucks:
Regear with traction adder.
I put lower (higher numaticaly) gears in both my trucks and a Limited Slip in one and Spool in the other.
I also like dual exhaust.... Like a tach for your ears...one less thing to keep your eyes on, plus it sounds great on these ol' trucks.

My top mod for any truck is a tilt front-end. Very easy to do, extreme access to everything on the front of the truck. Can get to all the bellhousing bolts, starter, all front suspension. If you make the hinge points with pull pins you can completely remove the front for unlimited access. Heck you can do a whole motor trans swap and the only thing you have to get under the truck for is the trans mount and drive shaft. Did I mention it is very easy to do

Best mod 462 lincoln motor and pistol grip shift **** on transfercase shifter. Worst, no stereo

best's- tires (36's), exhoust(stacks), mud flaps (got tired of busting tail lights with mud due to tires), radio (so i dont have to listen to my brother say i thought my blazer could make it....)
worst- mounting speakers to the dash becouse i havent got around to building boxes yet....also lots of mud= extra weigh= worse mileage (becouse i know theres alot under it just to cold to wash it on the bottom)

rear disk brakes on a dana 60 axel dam drum factory set up never worked right any ways
501 stroker motor
hei ignition cleaned up all the old factory wireing
air ride all 4 corners [comeing soon] after searching for 5 years finaly found a company makeing air ride for the i beam front end [air-bagit.com]
worst cheap spray in box liner from the body shop not worth the saveing

hey tankrsc do you have a gallery showing this tilt front end mod? would realy like to see how it is done i am realy getting too old to stand on a milk carton bending over in all kinds of weird positions working on the motor regurds joe
