Anyway, here goes...... ***Caterpillar DOES make the 7.2L C7.....Haven't checked the dimensions on that one yet (it's 400 or 500 lb heavier), but the performance specs aren't that different......

Here's some specs on the C7 which is what I've got now, having recently traded my early 99 SRW F350 for a Freightliner "monster truck" to pull my new 40' triple axle 5er.
I've seen several F650's with the C7 while visiting CAT shops, and even there it looks to be a fairly cramped engine compartment compared to my Freightliner. I think the height of the C7 is the biggest issue, and you'd need to build a special hood, and then raise the drivers seat to see over that, depending on how tall you are.
If you want specific dimensions on anything just let me know, as I can literally walk around inside my engine compartment and measure to about a 1/4" accuracy!
