no reverse
yesterday the trans wouldnt shift. i thought it was overheating. i let it sit for a few hours and it seemed to work. today i drove it and it decided it didnt want to shift again, after driving about 30 miles. reverse does not work at all now. is the trans shot? or is it a valve body? or maybe a selnoid?

yeah, it just revs like its in neutral. i went and started the truck this morning and it went into and moved in reverse and forward. i think the problem only happens when the trans warms up
i do not have a temp gauge but the second time this all happened and i lost reverse it was about 60 degrees out in the morning with an empty 16ft landscape trailer. i also have a after market trans cooler.
is there anything that could cause the trans to not want to go into gear only when its warm?
