I haven't been on for a while because I haven't been working on my truck for a while.
I've got a question for you pro's: The dash pad on my 68 f-100 is trash. I started to take it off and it looks like I'm going to have to take out the insturment cluster to get to the nuts on the drivers side.
Easy, hard, any other way? How do you do it? As always, I'd appreciate your advice.
You need to remove the instrument cluster, glove box and probably the defroster hoses. There are bolts along the front edge by windshield and along back edge and also low on corners. It is rather difficult as there seems to be a bolt still attached after you think they are all out. I've removed one dash pad and the cab was a junker that I didn't have to be careful with.
