The boots from Intakehoses.com have to be trimed down a bit on both sides of each hose. They are a little too long but after the trim they fit good and tighten down good too.

$35 for shipping. not too bad.

Now for the y-pipe

I got this part # off of Tim's I/C page
Early ’99 Y-pipe: F81Z-6K889BA

powerstrokeshop.com has them on sale for $116. is this a good price and are they spec'ing the right part. It says 99-03 powerstrokes but is there a different part # for only early 99's?

I might need metal pipes. I haven't received mine yet. Don't know if they are alum. or metal.

Anyone have an extra spyder? I only paid $45 including shipping for this one. I didn't know of the difference.

TJ, Just curious if I could mod this spyder to work or would it be more trouble than worth?

The spyder won't be worth doing anything to. Too many differences. Its got 3 out of the 5 openings that are wrong and the whole thing is taller than the early 99.

Does any one for sure have the p/N for the early '99 spyder.
I saw a couple before but didn't know if that was for the early truck or not?

Where are all these extra 6.0 intercoolers coming from? Are there that many diesel trucks getting wrecked?
