Where did you get the Vin number from, the frame or the door plate.
for instance, I wouldn't trust the Door plate on your truck, it could have been swapped like the front clip, or instead of the front clip, if you see where I'm leading this....
I did get it from the door plate... Where is it located on the frame?
Hey guys first post here, just thought I would chime in to help out. Best buy does carry a shallow mount sub from pioneer. The 10" sub has a depth of 3" there 12" being 4". Being that shallow and compensating for mdf thickness you'll need a good 5 to 6" under your seat. Then cause the shallowness of the box, you'll need to run it pretty much underneath the whole bench seat for proper air space and maybe flush mount the amp in the box on the other side. Like everyone says though a bench seat and center console may be easier. If you didn't have the tank behind your seat you have more room then you can imagine. Sorry for being so long.

The vin on the frame will be stamped on the top rail between the rad. support and cab on the passenger side, sometimes under the cab too.
But the fuel tank in the cab indicates an early dent-side. Also, the absence of fuel caps/doors on the box. It also has a divorced T-case, so likely early.
I may be wrong, but my best guess is that the only thing frankensteined is the front clip/hood and the badge location being correct for the clip. The frame vin will tell all, though...

It closely matches an early 1977 highboy, than anything else.

Definately check that frame vin.
I still cant locate it. There is a spot below the driver side of the cab that looks like it has been cut out and fixed and it just looks suspicious... Is there any type of code there?
Jeff's Bronco Graveyard sells a headliner w/speakers. That's where I got mine and I love it, after I upgraded the speakers. I think it's cheaper than LMC also.

Not that I'm aware of. The ones that I'm aware of are on the passenger side frame rail, between the radiator support and the rear cab mount, like decribed earlier. It's right on the top of the rail, not very conspicuous, and hard to see. (They do this on purpose.) You may have to wash the grease, grime and dirt away to see it. You might have better luck feeling for it, too with your fingertips. It's stamped in the frame so it should leave impressions in the metal that you can feel.
