Carlene edited it, not Tim. There are nearly 30 people with edit privileges on FTE and many of us use the generic terms "admin" or "staff" when editing. I back her fully on this one and can't speak for other FTE staff, but I'm sure they do as well. Her instincts were on target because its a little unusual for the first posts a user makes to be linking to and promoting a product. Not saying we don't believe him, but it's precautionary because of so many spammers who use similar tricks. Once a user gets established this isn't a big deal, because spammers don't take the time to establish themselves... they work by hit-and-run.

I guess I saw this and thought Tim did it.
I didnt realize this was his first post. Ol' STG made a boo boo. Carry on.
Out of curiosity is it illegal to shoot game from the side of the road?
in my county in SC its perfectly legal to shoot deer out of a truck window on a public road with a spotlight IF you have the preseason farm tags. They arent that hard to get though. All you need is 50 acres of food crop planted and proof deer are eating it.
Yes. Your not allowed to shoot near roads or buildings. It may vary from state to state though
Fair enough.
I can't believe someone has the time to slow down to shoot one anyway!
Here, you carry a gun (usually just a single shot 0.22 or similar), but only for humanitarian purposes to put the roo or turbo-chook out of its misery after you have clobbered it.

Shooting deer on your land from the side of the road, I can understand that. Driving down a road, spotting deer on someone else's land, and pulling out the gun... quite a bit different. I'm sure the game wardens feel the same! Boy have we strayed....!

You and Ken are both right. I edited out the link to the site he was promoting and left the company name, Tim came behind me and did away with the company name.
Oh and no hunting from the side of the road down here either.
yeah everywhere ive hunted weve always gone by the rule 100 yards from major road or building, farms and small backroads dount count though, me and dad will just park the truck on the side of a small backroad at the hunt club all the time and just sit on the tailgate hunting
