getting new truck
Well my f250 did it again shut it off and it wont start for a couple of days (happened 3 times last time was oct. 07)Wife was with me this time and since we have horses and take them to shows she said get rid of this truck!!! Anyway looking at getting a 2008 f250 diesel i know diesel is a lot of $$$$ but i wont be driving it every day have a 99 escort as my daily driver getting a good 30 mpg so it might not be that bad.Any way i get to shopping for a new truck woo-hoo should have some good prices on diesel now a days and at the end of the month also.

Do you do a lot of heavy towing? If not the V10 is the way to go, especially with how much more expensive diesel is right now and how low the 6.4s MPG numbers are. That extra $1/gallon for diesel really hurts...

Before you give up on your truck why don't you let us know what engine you have and what you have tried to fix it. It might be an easy fix. The 7.3L is known to have CPS issues which will cause the truck to die, or not start, and it is a very easy fix.
