Going to be driving my truck now that my dad is going to be driving the truck that ive been driving (lol) and I would like to get everything working.
That would be the hazard lights and Horn.
With the horn Im guessing it would be easier to just wire in one with a aftermarket button because i was trying to get it working with my steering wheel button and couldn't get it.
Also your stop lamps and turn signals work fine, right? just not the hazards. Check the hazzard flasher as mentioned earlier.
Also check for power going to the turn signal switch from the hazard flasher. White/Red hash wire, using a test lamp.
.
It could also be a defective turn signal switch.

Ok checked all fuses and the horn one was blown so I replaced it and horn still didn't work. All other lights work great. Only hazards don't work.
I didnt see a hazard flasher or where one would be on the back. Maybe I was looking in the wrong place.
Pulled off my steering wheel again and tried to get the wires right and the horn still didn't work. Its a PITA messing with it too. I might get an aftermarket horn and just wire it up to the steering wheel button.
I've been suspicious of this from the start seeing as how it's the one common
component in your problems + they're mechanical and wear out. You might be
able to get one from a junkyard for pretty cheap but only God will know if it works
(decent junkyards will let you exchange it if it doesn't).
Your hazard flasher should be on the back side of the fuse panel, you prolly have
to unbolt it and remove it from the firewall to access it.
Maybe your horn just doesn't work? Have you measured the voltage going to
it? Or maybe applied 12V directly to it?
To save yourself loads of headaches, just go for the aftermarket horns mate....the hazard flasher may be real hard to get to, but it should be almost directly behind the turn indicator flasher, right every1?
[quote=86F150302;6196256]Im not sure I know where the turn signal flasher is. Are you talking about the thing that clicks when you have your blinker on? , duh, yep, that's the 1 mate

LOL!!! OMG dude are you serious?
Well, I guess you are. Um, OK, sorry, I just thought *everybody* knew what a turn
signal flasher is (the clicky thing) and how to identify one on sight. It's the round,
cylindrical device stickin' out of the fuse panel (which is in the cab on the lower
left-hand firewall near the floor) the one you can see is for the turn signals, there's one
directly in back of it for the emergency flashers.
Are you talking about the thing that clicks, that's funny, dude! Living in Florida, I
think you've gotten too much sun in your life.

Sure as hell getting too much something in his life, not sure it's sunshine ....

Fuse panel, on the back side. You sometimes have to unbolt the panel from the firewall to remove/replace it.
It's got to be either the turn signal switch, hazzard flasher, or the white/red hash wire going from the fuse panel to the turn signal switch. can't be anything else if your Brake lights work.

Is there power to both sides of the horn fuse? Make sure of this, then check the wires in the column very carefully. Both hazard, and Horn wires are inside the column, and could have been damaged. Check these and go on to the following steps.

Try jumping the horns with a jumper directly from the battery. If they sound the horns are ok, if they don't then your horns under the hood are bad and need replacing.
If the horns under hood test good, Take your horn pad off the steering wheel. Use a jumper wire from the one horn connection to the other, if horns sound, then horn pad is defective, replace. If horn doesn't sound, remove wheel then check the horn brush, if worn out replace, etc...
