lots of problems
Hey everyone, i have been gone a long time, i know, haven't' forgot about this site, it is awesome. I have been working on my 68 f250 camper special, putting power steering in and what a nightmare!!!!!!!!!!. I got a tutorial on how to do this, until i tried to put everything back in it was fine. Now nothing fits right, I got a power steering pump and bracket from the junk yard. The guy from the yard said it came out of a 73, and assured me that it would fit. It is close but, the belt does not line up right, and i know from experience that it will take out the bearings if it is not perfect fit. So any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks MY 390

I have put washers everywhere, made some difference but not enough to get it close enough, believe me i did the washer trick i don't know how many times. Do you know if the brkt and pump are the same from 68 to 73?? Every thing i read says only 67 to 72. I thinking that the 73 doner pump and brkt are just a little bit different.
