Hey guys let me know what you think of the console i just bult from scratch. It has a face for gauges and switches and space for cup holders (need to install them). I also built an inclosure that holds 2 10 inch subwoofers underneath. Let me know what you think!
p.s. This pic is with crappy paint I have stripped and sprayed with nice paint with good texture.
Yes i have more photo's i have to take some of it inside the truck because this is going into my portfolio ( I am going to art school for industrial design). It has a wooden frame with fiber board for the enclosure part to make the fiberglassing easier. I'm not sure what you mean by " trim level".
Oh I feel dumb haha... It's an XLT. Yeah i am buying gauges and a switch panel soon so i will have it back out but i will have pics up in the next day or so of it inside the truck... Keep your eyes open!
Layed Out, good location, I'll have to see if they'll fit there on my '03. I'd like to add just a few gauges and don't want the pillar blind spot any larger.
Dude that looks awesome. that's exactly what i have been dreaming of. what do you charge? or can you at least give me some details/instructions
I started with a wooden frame cut to fit where i wanted it and filled in the space i needed the subwoofer enclosure with fiber board then fiberglassed over it then used bondo to smoth it out but i actually have to strip all the bondo off this weekend and put on more fiberglass and sand it down because i found out the bondo will crumble with subwoofers. I am installing gauges next week. you can check out my step by step pictures on my myspace at MySpace.com - They Call Me Boner - 19 - Male - Titusville, Florida - www.myspace.com/tsmitty
