Tru Cool Max 4739 installation
I just received my Tranny cooler for my 97 F350. Now I have a few questions before I try installing.
Where is the best location to install?
Do I keep the stock cooler?
Does anyone have any installed pics?
Any tips on installation?
How much time should I expect installation to take?
I'm trying to determine if this is a job to tackle myself or not. I bought the truck a couple of weeks ago and I'm trying to get it ready to pull a 5th wheel. I will be taking it to a tranny shop to have it serviced but would like to save some $ by installing the cooler myself if it's not too major a job.

Installing a tranny cooler is easy and might take you 30 min at the most.
Pull the grill with the center screw and the four screws on top of the grill.
Then find your two hoses and attach them appropriately to the cooler.
You replace the stock cooler with the new one. Some say putting two in line will decrease line pressure. Put it right on the pass side in front of the a/c condenser.
