93 ranger power windows don't work

93 ranger power windows don't work

93 windows quit one day, both at same time, been down for a year, any ideas or should i just convert to manual?

could be the switches or the relays. Do they do anything at all? Did you check the fuses? if all else fails you can go direct from a hot source and see if they go up that would put you into checking the above. Use a continuity tester to check the switches, easiest is to check for 12v at the wire harness with the door panels off, then 12v at the switches. if no power at the 1st check point go for the relays/fuses. also make sure to check the grounds for good connection.
