please help
Now let me begain,,, i bought the motor home about three weeks ago , it only has 27000 org miles ,,,ran great,,,untill,,,the soliniod,when got hot would not crank the vehic,,,well got new one and hooked it up and had nothing,,,no dome lights nothing,,well fig i crossed the two wires on the pos and neg post of the soliniod..the little wires that go on the pos/neg ,,,well switched them around and the dome light came on and i started the vihic only for it to stall ,,,well fig when i crossed the wires maybe i blew a fues,,,nope,,changed the brain box still stalls,,,changed the fuel pump relay ,,still stalles,,changed the coil still stalles removed the fuel line and turned key over and pumps fuel evey strok,,,man i dont no what i did or what happened when the wires got crossed but i am about to go insainer,,and baulder..lol..please any body no what i should do next,,,it will crank after spinning it over a wile and stalls in about 15-20sec,,any info will be app..thanks and glad to be on the site,,,JOECOOL3

You should check to see if the pickup (stator) in the distributor is good.
I found I have 660 ohms across mine, but don't know what it *should* test at..

If you don't have spark and the wiring isn't burned up then it might be the pickup.
Easy enough to check.
Just unplug the distributor and measure resistance across the 2 parallel blades in the 3 pin connector.
The other (black) one is ground.
No need for it to be "on", the signal is generated by the magnetic "reluctor" sweeping past the hall effect coil.

But if you say you have spark... notice there's a "start" and "run" position to power the "brain box" (as Oscar Meier said)
And it dies after running for 15-20 seconds.
I think I'd start from square one.....
You didn't affect the compression crossing wires, and since you still have spark(?) I'd start looking for a fueling problem.
These three things are all you need to get it to run.
Can you get it started if you pour a little gas down the throat of the carb?
