i like this idea but has anyone ever chose a different fuse. if someone broke in my truck i wouldn't want them cranking and cranking on it, as they burn up my starter and drain my batteries. Isn't there a starter relay or fuse you can tie to so that when that try and kick it over, nothing happens??

I'm not sure what the no start is but I'm sure it just wipes the PCM clean.

I never really looked into the other fuses, I read about this mod and did it...

Personally, I'd rather them burn up my starter then them take my truck!

You hold both buttons on the DP, the light flashes on 0 but will not go to position 0 till you turn off the key. Then to get outta 0, you have to tun the key on, hold the right button 3 seconds and it goes back to position 1. I did my reading last night haha after i got it installed

Ok misread that. Not sure but i'd assume it cuts power to the injectors. Haha but now you know how to get to 0 haha

Or just remove the switcher box

When I was thinking about trying this mod, I have the DP with no start. I just pulled the swtich box and it will not start either. I pulled the IDM relay and it would not start so either one is a good way to keep your truck.

You must have a newer version than what I have. I just now got back in from trying this NO START....you are right about holding both buttons makes the "0" flashe really fast, they you turn the key OFF. You turn the key back on and there is nothing on the display. I pressed the right button and nothing happened and it would not start, so I pressed the left button and it went to "1" and started right up. Guess there must be different ways of getting it back. I held my breath till it started, I just didn't want to do something I was going to regret. Anyone thinking about doing the DP with NO START...It works!!
