IDM testing

is there anyway to test the idm when its out of the truck or can it be tested while in the truck or is there some place i can bring it to be tested??

I'm not aware of any break out box type tester for an IDM. The only driveway test I can think of is to swap it out with another one.

What are you wanting to test it for?
Is the truck running funny?

yes real bad....if you read my engine service lite on....then part 2...then part 2 again you will see the problems ive been going through

I've been down this road in the last couple of weeks; once on my own roach, and again on a customers'...

the only on-truck test for the IDM is ohm testing the high & low sides of the injector circuits (key OFF!)

now that's been said, lemme go find the other thread and I'll see if I can help more...
