new used front end
I have the origional "I" beam front diff ( 3.54 E8TA-Z-610312-1 ) and want to put the solid front axle in. (4.10 E8TA-XB 610313-2 ) Do I have to change the transfer case? Will the gears match? Is there a chance damage will ocure?

generally speaking they will interchange... no t-case swapping is necessary either way.
you need to fill out your sig or at least shed some light on what kind of truck you are working on
do a search this topic has been beat to death!

Check out Ibleedblue's writeup for SAS (solid axle swap). Great pics and informative write up.
Vehicle specs are a must when posting here.

and no, the gears don't match. your ttb setup is a 3.54 and the solid 44 is a 4.10, so you would have to regear, so might as well step the rear up to a 4.10 at least.

Anxiously awaiting vehicle specs, intended tire size and intended terrain for the end product.

SAS is a little too hardcore for your average mall crawlers. This type of fab is usually reserved for 1- rich "highskool" kids who want to show off in front of their friends (who by the way have no idea what SAS stands for) or B- real offroad trucks
Andrew,
he could always run 35s in the front and 31s in the back to keep the transfer case from exploding.

ooh..i like that idea...but with the quick math i think you'd need 32's in the back....but then again i'm tired and i can't find a calculator...

well, to keep the front end floating through the mud pits, that lil bit of difference with 31's will help
