I love it!! VERY bright, AWSOME!! it gets any where any angle!! very cool light, im not happy with the chrome outer dome, i ordered the black one. will post when i put the black one on..
the wire goes under the black cap on the inside of the door (the cover behind the mirror that covers the 3 mirror nuts) it goes down the door and through the rubber door grommet with all the other door wires, i have it then go through the fire wall and i have it fused and to the battery. it grounds itslef being bolted on the door. there is just a little switch that your thumb clicks whenever you want it on or off.. yes i did go through the door, i didnt want to weaken the a-pillar.. ( or drill through it!!)
not sure bout the bar, i bought the setup off a guy on craigslist, i know the lights are pro comp... bar is prably just a no namer brand, bolts right on the bumper bolts and i get to keep the tow hooks with it thats why i liked it.
So the Unity light mounts to the Door? Not the A-pillar? I have always put Unitys on my Jeeps and now I want them on my Excursion but I have an ARB Snorkel on the drivers side A-pillar. I wonder if it (Spotlight) would fit.
Oops! I should have red the replys, I was to busy looking at the pictures getting exited. I see that you answered my question already. One other, is that Unity mount intended for the door or did you just want to stay away from the A-pillar.
Thanks
Corey
no it is meant for the door, unity actually segjests the door rather than the A pillar, not too sure why, but im sure it is because it weakens the A pillar. by the way, KICK *** EXCURSION!!!!!
