I am gathering more detail on the 368 myself.
The 368 is part of the 317-341-368 Lincoln Y-Block or LYB family.
Car use went from 1952-1957.
Same bore space as the FE 332-352 of 1958, but not much interchanges as far as I know.
368-4v was rated at 285, 290, 300hp and I think it's an accurate rating based on my computer modeling of the 57 Merc road tests I can find (see Brooklands 47-59 Merc book).
I am hunting for .050 lobe camshaft durations, and cyl head port sizes for the 368 if you ever get to measure them.
Oh there was also an "M-335" dual quad 368 Merc in 1957.
Ive finally located a 368 for myself. Hopefully I'll have it here soon after the IRS sends my refund! Actually its a long stored rebuilt with 0 miles at a real nice price, just a full days drive away.
