Excursion Buy Back...
My only experience with this was when I had my Hemi Durango...it was a buy back vehicle that I purchased. The dealer disclosed that prior to the sale. However what the dealer failed to disclose and attempted to after the fact was that I needed to sign an agreement that I waived my rights to FURTHER lemon law actions...so that lead me to believe that I still COULD pursue the lemon laws on this vehicle.
In the end...it worked out...as I swapped the Hemi for the V10 since I REFUSED to waive my rights...so they got the Hemi back and I got the Ex...a win win if you ask me.
So while my experience was with a Dodge...I guess under certain situations (i.e. if you havne't agreed NOT TO SUE THEM)...you may still have that avenue open to you...
Call a lemon law attorney in your state to find out for sure...but first I'd check the paper work you signed when you purchased the vehicle...my dealer simply forgot to have me sign it...had they done so...I'd have been stuck...
My Hemi did NOT require buy back...I simply did not want to waive my rights in the future if needed...
Good luck!
joe.
