F-600

i am lookin at an F-600 Dump Truck with an unknown engine in it, the owner says it is a "3 somethin" what could it be.

1960 F-600 Dual wheel manual tranny Dump bed.

Andy, If you can, please post the info from the data plate inside the glovebox door. I can look it up for you. My guess would be the 302 HD, or the 332 HD if it is original.

F-600

whats up with everybody and these big motors i got screwed. my 62 f700 dualy 4 speed manual trny dump only has a 292 and it original. why would they put such a small motor in my truck and big ones in every body elses. Size does matter!

I'm not sure of 1962, but I know in 1959 and 1960, the bigger motors weren't standard until you got up to an F-750. F-700 came with both 292, and 292 HD. School busses up to B-700 came with the 292's also.

I am not sure about yours But I have 1958 f600 and a 1960 F600 with hydraulic dump as well as a 1960 f350 and all three have 292's in them.

P.s. The f600's are both for sale
