Unhappy Rained on my parade!

This weekend was supposed to be clear and sunny, so yesterday I went to a car show. The typical Texas weather performed a big change and clouded up and rained all over us as we were leaving the show. First time in the rain with the truck.
First thing that happened is the windshield started leaking around the rubber at the bottom corner on the passengers side. The leak is between the rubber and the cab. What are my options for sealing it up??
The second thing that happened is the wipers arms are apparently a little loose on the **** they fit on. They ended up wiping more to the bottom all the time. The arms are new. Anyone have trouble with new arms being a little oversize? I think the small splines on the ***** are worn down some, so that is probably the problem. What can I do to remedy this problem?
Also discovered that I have a little too much back brake, when I made a sudden stop in the rain. The rear end wanted to fishtail around. Guess I will close the proportioning valve a turn or two.
Other than that it was a good day
Thanks for any ideas that you can send my way.!

Maybe a little silicone sealant injected under the seal will fix the leak.......as long as you can find exactly where it is, water has a way of leaking thru about 304 feet from where it actually enters
No idea about the wipers unless you have the wrong size arms for the wiper ***** ????

I know this sounds silly but a thin tape like scotch tape or masking tape over the end of the splined shaft then arm pushed over it would be a temp fix. Kurt G. Y blocks rule.

Mine also leaked around the windshield rubber the first time out. I put some clear silicone under the seal but haven't had it back out in the rain again yet. Even though it was leaking at the corners I think it was running down there from the top somewhere so I ran the sealant all the way down the sides and around the top corners too...

the glass shops have secondary seal they use between the rubber and the body for your problem. i have always used rain-x and have been lucky that it worked as claimed. also use fog-x on the inside of windows.

The Rain x worked great for me last Sunday for the way back from Knoxville. As for your ****, you could drill a small hole in the bottom of it and tap for a set screw. Leaky rubber, well try the sealent and pray you don't make a mess.

Had to go to town today, so I took the truck to the oldest glass shop in town. Took them less than 5 minutes to pull the windshield. It had no sealer on it. The metal was in perfect shape and the rubber gasket was good. They cleaned everything and applied sealer and popped it back in. Took them longer to clean up the mess than it did to put it back in. I figured better to have them do it, than for me to make a mess of it.
The wife was following me and informed me that I have no brake lights, so now that is the next problem. The turn signals work so I know the wiring is OK. Darn pressure switch! I am going to put in a mechanical one.

55dude,
Thanks for getting me thinking about my brake light problem. I checked everything out and it turned out to be the connector that plugs into the steering column. Apparently it got messed up when the carpet was installed about a month ago and I didn't know it. Good thing the wife was behind me and noticed it. Had to pull back a little carpet from the firewall, but I got it fixed. Now have to glue carpet back.
Thanks,
