is the tran slipping or is the the TC?? I was unaware that you could stack tranny command modules. This is one thing I will never use. All these do is increase line pressure by tricking your system. I have never beeen a fan of that. I haul 22k ALL the time, well, three times a week or so, and have NEVER put a module in my turck. I did have to replace the tc at a little over 100k miles, now have over 165k on it and never misses a beat.

I believe that the converters in our trucks are multi stage. They lockup in percentage if i remember right. If you see a lockup at about 40 mph into od with 4.10 gear ratios, and you go to accelerate SLIGHTLY, do you see the rpms slide up or do they stay the same? If they slide, your TC is TOAST. If they dont move much while acelerating SLIGHTLY, you have other problems. Do you still have the worthless stock tranny cooler? This is the main problem for the stock tranny to go south.

i reccomend removing both kits you have and see what the truck feels like bone stock.
from there you can decide what is going on, you should always have a solid trans before modding it, adding the kits can mask potentialy catastrophic failures. the 3rd gear shudder you feel could be the converter clutch engaging. i am not happy with the transcommand programming, take that out first and see what it does. but you should really start from scratch and see if you still have the issues.
odds are you have a rebuild issue and need to get it fixed asap before your warrenty runs out. what kind of heavy duty converter went in it? who did the rebuild? what components did they replace? any upgrades? lots of questions to be answered before you throw anymore parts at it.
