Well my 01 expy jus about to turn 60k on odom,Called a few ford dealers to have it done, and holy smokes,The cheapest dealer was $369.they were not going to change trany filter just oil.So I went picked up everthing I needed and did it my self.Total cost $135.I cleaned the throttle body, changed eng coolant ,replaced eng oil, trany oil, trany filter,When i pulled down trany pan,had some gunk on the magnet, sure glad I pulled it down and cleaned it.also did fuel filter.total time 2.5.total beer drank 3 or 9 cant remember.Took her out for a spin, what a difference, smooth shifts..

Amazing what the difference in cost is when you do it yourself sometimes. Nice job. I've had my trans flushed every year since I've owned it, but I don't think the filter has ever been changed. Did you drain your converter, too, or just the pan?

It might not hurt to pull the #5 plug and see what it looks like and if the gap has changed. I know the plugs are suppose to last 100k but depending on your driving conditions they may need changing or cleaning and re-gapping. Check your brake fluid also. Its probably due for a change also. Did you get the cruise control harness upgraded?
