BTS Trans on 5 June

Hey Everyone,

I'm finally getting down to Lead Hill Arkansas on 5 June to get my transmission upgraded along with a new TC. I'm also having Brian install (due to military service I can no longer physically climb up, under, around or in between my engine bay.....BUMMER) my Banks exhaust and Spearco IC along with any other logical upgrades for power & economy.

Is there anything that needs tweaked/disconnected when you remove the EBV? Do I need to get the non-EBV turbo pedestal? I'm also lining up which DP tunes I'm going to get from Jody & Diane and hopefully get some live tuning when he comes to northern IL. Jody recommends the ATS housing for surge.

Am I forgetting anything else? I'm not going to change my injectors but is an aftermarket HPOP setup worth the expense?

Kwik, I see you really recommend removing the AIH.

I know this is similar to my "What's Next" thread, but now I'm closer to completion and would appreciate any further input.

Thanks Again, V/r Les

You should be OK with the stock HPOP, that is usually last on the list with Turbo and Injectors.

If you are dealing with Brian and Jody, what ever they say is Gospel.

Enjoy your built trans with some power behind it.

jhand,

Thanks for the input. Funny, now that I'm heading to BTS in a couple weeks, I've started dreaming about my truck again.....haven't done that since 2003.

When you go there Cale, Brians son also burns chips. Before you get down there you might want to call Brian and ask for his opinions, he might have somethings laying around the shop. When I had my truck there they rebuilt the turbo, gutted the ebpv, 6.0 trans cooler, and some other things along with a chip. Just a thought.

Thanks totin_tools,

Based on the overwhelming DP Tuner recommendations on this site and speaking with Jody, I'm set on his chip. I can't wait to meet Brian and glean some great info about my 7.3 PSD.
