Driving The Truck Today. Everything Working Fine. Stopped At The Store And Locked Up The Truck. When I Came Out. The Electric Locks Would Not Work With The Remote. Opened It With The Key. On The Way Home No Problem. When I Got Home And Shut The Truck Off And Removed The Key, The Radio Would Not Shut Off; The Electric Door Locks Would Not Work From The Switch Or Remote, The Window On The Drivers Side Would Not Go Up Or Down With The Key On Or Off But The Passenger Side Window Would Go Up Or Down Even With The Key Off. Started The Truck Up And Shut It Down Several Times And Still Had The Same Problems. Need Some Help Please.
Anyone Had This Problem, Or Know What To Check?
I gotta guess your PCM has gotten wet. Has it been raining? Does your windshield maybe leak on the drivers side? These are really weird sounding problems. I too am very interested to hear what the real guru's come up with here.
Just to get it ruled out, go ahead and check your batteries and their connections, including the grounds. If your chasing electrical gremlins the first thing to rule out is the batteries.
Check all the grounds in the wiring system. If you lost a ground somewhere the current will try to find another way to get back to the batteries, what ever route that may take. There are ground points all over your truck, under the hood, under the dash, on the box, firewall to name a few. HTH and good luck. Lee

I second checking the batteries and grounds. I have seen batteries cause the door locks and the radio go crazy.
Could this be the GEM thingy? I cant remember the correct name, but haven't there been a few guys that have 02's that had problems with them? They control all sorts of things like keyless entry, the drivers window (auto-down), dome light, etc..
sure sounds like a gem problem its mounted on the back of the fuse box check for corosion this is a programmable module and can't just be replace i did have this problem
This really smells of an ECM (Generic Electronic Module) problem. It is the only thing I know of that controls all the devices you listed. You may can reset it by A: unplugging it, a real PITA, or B: unhooking both batteries, turning on headlights to drain every bit of juice to make sure the ECM resets. If not, might be time to replace the ECM. Of couse, do as the others stated, and check the batteries and cable. Weak current can make these things do some wierd stuff.
Went Out This Morning To Start Checking Things Out. When I Checked Everything One More Time; And Guess What; Everything Was Working Normal. Went Ahead And Wiggled All The Connectios I Could And Tightened All The Grounds I Could Find And Everything Still Ok. Guess I Will Wait And See If It Rears Its Ugly Head Again.
Thanks For The Sggestions
My radio has done whatever it feels like doing for years. Mostly in cold weather. It will turn itself on, switch to CD whenever it feels like it. I've just given up on trying to figure it out. It works just fine 99 and 9/10th's of the time. But I gotta admit it bugs me.
