Service engine soon light
What would make my SES light not come on anymore with the DP tuner, it still has the power. It used to come on all the time when I got on it or was towing up a hill.

IIRC here is why you get the SES light with a chipped truck.
If the ICP indicates pressure fails to reach a specified value, the PCM continues to increase the duty cycle on the IPR until it reaches the maximum of around 60 percent. Somewhere around 50 percent, even if adequate pressure is achieved and the engine runs, the PCM sets a code for ICP above/below normal.
I also have read posts that say the PCM will set the code if the ICP is under 400 psi of the specified value.
The only reason I could see why you do not set the 1211 code is that your engine is able to hold ICP. Have you changed anything recently or since the chip?

That's not it, it will still come on with the turn of the key. There has to be a reason, I'm at a loss.

I have the same problem(if you want to call it that) with my 01. It used to come on if I even thought of the 140 Extreme setting on the DP. Now it might light the SES light one in every 5 times in the 140 tune. I even used to get it to light up in the 80 Economy tune, not now. I haven't changed anything significant that would cause this either.
