Today i was riding my ford 250 super duty 06 and suddenly turns of i the middle of know where then i ask for a tow truck the truck when i tried to turn on again doesnt start and a friend told me that this type of car when suffers a circuit blow a special circuit of the injection turn off and has to be turned on again because when you turn the ignition on can start but the fuel cuts and doesnt start???
Someone knows where is this circuit or button??? He told me that he owns a caravan in his car the switch is behind the stop signal in the trunk of the car..
I think you are looking for the fuel cut off switch? Typically this is only envoked is high g situations (i.e. a crash) or manually.
I'm not sure if the 05 + is the same but if I remember right mine is on the passager side in the lower kick plate. There should be a button there to reset the fuel cut off.
Yes the fuel cutoff switch is in the kick plate in front of the passenger door below the dash. Like Monster-4 said though it is likely not your problem. What engine do you have in your truck? If it is the 7.3L diesel it could be the cam position sensor. This is a very common problem on that engine, and is actually part of a recall in the US now.
His location says Guatamala though, I don't think central america got the 6.0L until a few years after us, if they have even got it yet. That is why I wanted him to let us know for sure.
he has an 06 diesel, so it is a 6.0 liter, not a 7.3
and the diesel does not have a fuel pump reset switch that i know of.
Every vehicle sold in the US that has an electric fuel pump either in the tank, frame rail or engine compartment . Gas or Diesel is required to have the inertia switch to kill the fuel pump in the event of an accident.

Yes is a 6.0 L 2006 ford super duty lariat i bought it in the US but suddenly it turned off and yes the switch is on the passenger side and i already cheked but turns to be ok but the car doesnt star and i do not have a clue of can be????????

Wich one is the cam position sensor the car the problem that got was that turned off sudenly and it wont star have fuel have batery and have lights on te dash but is like the engine doesnt recive gas
One mechanic in Mex said to me if the oil in the engine is to old the injection doesnt open the injectors then have no gas is why the engine doesnt start??????? like i said the starter runs but the engine dont turn on like no spark in a gas one????
The engine must be full of oil and the oil should be in good shape so check that. Have you checked all your fuses to make sure you didn't blow one? I'm not as familiar with the 6.0 motor, but we do have a section specifically for that motor here 2003 - 2007 6.0L Power Stroke Diesel - Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums

Hey man, you need to make some sense okay? Make your questions and statements coherent and use a little grammar here and there. Proper verbs and nouns in the right places, and a period or comma here and there help my head not hurt.
