Josegridiron:
Some troubleshooting ideas for you:

When you turn the key to on, wait to start light comes on and eventually goes off. During this time, can you hear your fuel pump running?

When you turn to starter from on with the ignition, can you hear injectors cycling? I know on mine, when I turn to on and wait for the glow plug light to go out, I can hear injectors cycling. If you cant hear this, then I wonder if your ECM, PCM computer boxes are unplugged or you have a wiring issue?

The other way to check you are getting fuel from the primary pump and to the engine is to remove your secondary fuel filter on the engine, have someone turn ignition to on and see if the bowl fills up. (Be careful, they have to be ready to turn to off right away!)

Had you just changed oil or fuel filters before this happened? You could have a vacuum leak in the fuel causing a no start, you could have not enough oil in the oil pan, verify oil on the dipstick is up to full or close to it?

Hope this helps.

I'm not so sure the CPS would throw a code. The computer just thinks you stalled the engine

The ECM or PCM is the "computer". The brain. Powertrain Control Module.

I would start looking over the wiring harnesses to make sure you don't have a short somewhere. There were a few years of Super Duties that were known to have wiring harness issues that could cause all kinds of issues with starting and rough running.

You may also think about asking a moderator to move your thread down to the 6.0L forum, as there are some guys down there that really know their stuff, and htey don't make their way into the general Super Duty forum too often.
