how to clean cowl

i noticed that i have some rotting leaves in my cowl, if i spray in there with a hose will it flush out?

Thats a tough one, as I looked in your gallery, for mine it was full of pine needled and leaves and sticks, but mine has a plug in the middle of cowl, yours does not look to have one but if it does I smashed everything into small pieces with a screw driver from the top,taped a length of heater hose to my shop vac and reached in thru that plug in my cowl, then pushed everythihg left to the sides and stuck sweeper hose in the holes in front of the doors. if U have no air, uU should B able to remove the plastic air vents inside and clean it from there with a shop vac, thats where it will end up.
