69 F250 steering
Well, over 2 weeks and no response, I've done a lot of research and testing on my p/steering problem. Here's what I came up with. I was given false info from the client and I needed to get to the root of the problem. Found out that there was the same type of hard streering even with the bendix gearbox, so I needed to check the other components of the front end. The King pins were frozen in the bushings and would not allow the power assist to funtion properly. The fix was simple replace king pins and retest. Now we have assist and the steering reacts normal. So if anyone else runs into this problem, check all the front end components and get the real info from the client. J
