Hi all. Have a 1966 F250. A few years ago I replaced the king pins. In the process, NumberDummy informed me that based on the size of the king pins, I have a 3,500 or 3,800 lb front axle. I'm now wanting to replace steering components - center link, inner tie rod and drag link.
Hoping someone can help me out with part numbers. I've looked at the places I usually order parts from and see notions like "over serial number M00,001" or "3,000 lb axle". So, I'm unsure what I need and don't have a parts catalog.

Fantastic As always! Thank you! Now, can I ask a stupid question?? What's the deal with the "3,500 - 3,800 lb axle??" I don't have a warranty plate on the door to provide any clues. Is this a truck that was sold as a "heavy duty model" or was it just a truck the dealer just happened to have in stock??
It has a welded on flat bed, but that could have been added at any time between 1966 and 2007 when I got my hands on it.
Look at the axle capacities listed in those two pics. I had to read thru your back posts to determine your F250 is 2WD
Warranty Plate has nothing on it for 2WD's that points to front axle capacity, all it has is the GVW (Gross Vehicle Weight Rating).
When you look in the parts catalog front brake parts application charts...then the front axle capacities are listed.
Your F250 2WD has a 3,000 lb. front axle capacity. 3,500 lb. capacity first offered in 1971 F250 2WD with GVWR's of 7,500 & 8,100 lbs. from serial number M00,001.
3,000 or 3,500 front axle capacity refers to F250 4WD front driving axles.
Ok. My vin is:

What I have is a two wheel drive with a 240 I6, custom cab. Curious how I ended up with 4 wd components. Truck in an accident at some point and someone found donor parts at a boneyard??
Sorry for the annoying questions. Just trying to get the big picture.

^ I typed this before I read post 6. But when I added the pics, you beat me to the punch.

You did not end up with 4WD components, because if you did, they would not fit!
Do these 4WD parts resemble your 2WD? Not a chance!
Your contributions to this site are invaluable, but I don't know exactly what I have on this truck, so I don't want to waste your time running you in circles. I'll figure it out.

Woo hoo! Parts catalog ordered from hippo parts.com. Thanks for pointing me in that direction. I have a huge commercial printer at work so I can print off pages as I need them.
