I have a 68 F100 and I need some help with the modling. When I took the headliner out. The chrome molding was rusted and pitted. I have the molding from a 70 F100. Well this work in the 68?
Thanks for the help
It should, the only thing I can say is hold the '70 trim up to the '68 and see if it looks the same. However, you my yet be able to save your trim, take some steel wool to it and I just bet ya that it cleans right up and looks like darn near new.
There were two types of moulding one for the 67-69 and 70-72 they both will work the only difference besides one being painted and the other is chrome was the early yrs had small corner pieces where as the later yrs the corner was part of the sides and back/front pieces or vise-versa. They will both line up in the cab roof holes for fastening them.
It's made by turtle wax.....and it's a miracle product! You can get rid of all the rust and a great deal of the pitting....depending on how worn your trim is, it may look good as new. I've been using this stuff on the hubcaps and bumpers of my '74 Beetle for years....I'm always amazed at what it can do.

You are correct! The 67s have the little seperate corners, and mine is a ranger so it is stainless, not painted, though I'm not sure that is what makes the difference.
