carb governor

carb governor

How does one eliminate the governor in the carb. I found out that I have a 1954 Cargo King F800 with a 317.

Why do you want to get rid of the governor? It should be set at around 3800 which is probably all you want to do anyway.

I think it's integral to the truck style carb. By a Lincoln Car carburator. I think the Car is a Holley 1901, and the truck is a 1901FFG.
