Driving along 460 west in VA and I see a mid 90's black GMC van, tinted windows, dual exhaust out the sides, altezza tail lights, lowered and big *** wheels.
Although I think it is kind of crazy to dress up a van I also wonder, What is the Main reason we accessorize are vehicles? To make them different from others, so why not dress up your mini van, and lets be honest your darn rights these vehicles are unique.
I saw a G.M.454 SS 4X4 lowered to about 6 inches off the ground with those tires that are about 3 inches thick and stick out of the side of the truck about a foot. Now to me thats stupid
That's too funny, i suppose if someone gave me a mini van and i had to drive it, i'd customize it...............nah nevermind i'd just sell it and buy a beat up truck lol.
There's a blue early 90's Grand Caravan around here with tinted windows, alloy wheels, a monster sound system, and what I thought was those plastic ground-effects on the sides. That is until I pulled up next to him and recognized him as a guy I went to high school with that was paralyzed from the waist down, and so those weren't ground-effects, the floor was lowered for his wheel chair.

Hey don't dis the mini van. I've had many a good time in my buddy matts v6 voyager. It was a late 80's extra long one, had no seats in the back and wall to wall **** carpeting, faded blue paint with the fake wood trim, and at least 10 difernt sets of hubcaps beause they just would not stay on the thing. We jumped that thing many times. once so hard it shaterd the sliders glass. I saw it leave a 30ft strip, both wheels, without the e brake. We did a donut on a dry parkinglot one day that blew out both pasenger side tires, and almost roled the van. A couple weeks later he tosted both cv shafts doing a donut. That thing wasted so many so-called fast cars it was sickening. He yanked the e brack going across an icy parking lot one day, im not shore how many times we spun, but we both puked are guts out. It pushed his friends 1 ton chivy up a driveway when the kid would not move it so we could leave. And he bought this thing himself. so its not like he was trashing his parents ride. We tried cleaning it up with a paint job but it just wasnt the same.
Down here there is a guy who has some POS van with hydraulics. him and his other high school frineds like to like to show off all their hoopty rides in the Food World parking lot.
Ha! Don't dis the van, please. My mom had one that smoked like a chimney, and every once on a while the thing would do some strange stuff. Go off for no reason and won't start up, and then start up a afew days later, for no reason at all. Popped the hood one day to find, a load of crap (the engine) that sounded like boiling water. Where was it comming from? Not the radiator. It was comming from inside the plenduem. And the turbos are a different story, you can make anything fast with one of those, just put in a bigger turbo and run it richer. How do you think Offenhauser got that 1200hp I4?
Here in the land of Okies, I have seen more dead things hanging off of anntennas than you would believe. I wonder what having a family of dead rats covering your entire anntenna would do with your reception Maybe I can find a new use for my cat.
