Well it's been along time, but I would appreciate some thoughts on this one. I replaced the glow plugs, relay, batteries are fine, alternator is fine. Could it be the starter causing condition where it sound like batteries are low? Thanks Jcab
10-4 The starter can definately show those signs. If you remove it the parts stores can bench test it for you. I also agree a load test on the batteries is a good idea but they have to be done independant of each other.
Yes autozone can usually check them for free, and they can also check a starter motor for how well it works. pretty sweet setup.
Same bench can test alternators.
Check all your wires on the way to the starter for a bad connection/short/grounding. that's a fat chance, but if you're running out of options, thats something to look at.
