hey pards, need some help!!
does any one out there know the timing on a 1979 351M engine ?
its a F 250 4x4 and the decal is missing . had to replace distributor,
also dont know what the rpms are on the carb. to set timing.

Not sure if you you've found an answer, although I can't give specifics...but you should start off at somewhere between 0 and 10BDC (smog guys...ya...) at probabably 750 RPMs..anywhere close with 4-6 degree and within a few hundred RPMs will get her fired up and you can tune in from there.
