need a front driveshaft

If you have the ends for that driveshaft, I would strongly recommend that you have one made. They call it "re-tubing" the driveshaft, where they just weld the ends on a new tube. The nice thing about that is that they usually will use a heavier gauge tubing when they make a new one, and it is precision balanced. If you go to a good machine shop, you will end up with a better driveshaft than what came from the factory.
Then last time I had one made it was about 60 bucks, but I would imagine they are a little more expensive nowadays. That was quite a few years ago.
The machine shop that I used specialized in making driveshafts so they did a real good job. Smooth as silk on a snowy highway in 4 wheel drive. No vibration at all.
If that isn't what you want to do, then next time I get a chance I will look at my local wrecking yards for you, next time I find myself wandering aimlessly around in a PicknPull. Don't laugh, it happens from time to time. Sometimes I just can't drive by PicknPull. Gotta stop in to just look around.
