Block I.D.
Help I have what is supose to be a 351 Windsor,year unknown. The block has a cast number of D2AE-6015-BA-14 if anyone can help me I.D. this block it would sure help me an awfull lot. Thanks email doug@colprinting.com

Block I.D.
D2 means it's a '72 block. A means full size Ford. E means it was released by the Engine division. 6015 means it's a block. Even though my book shows 6010 is for blocks. The easiest way to tell a 351 from a 302 is the deck surface for the heads is almost on top of the water pump holes of the block. The 351 deck is an inch higher. The 351 mains are 3" while the 302 is 2.25"
